Silivene Travels the World: FIBA Photo Contest Switzerland

Recently my portrait of Silivene in Rwanda was selected to be a part of an exhibition in Switzerland at FIBA (International Basketball Federation) headquarters along with 39 other images for their annual photo contest. While on a shoot in Boston, I received an instagram DM from Rafikids, a Swiss and Bulgarian based nonprofit that works in Rwanda using basketball like my friends over at Shooting Touch. Rafikids sent me some photos of the portrait on display along with other images. Towards the end of July, FIBA will announce the top 10 images selected by a jury of artists and curators. So honored to have my image of Silivene getting more exposure all around the world. The portrait has now traveled to Rwanda, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Switzerland.
